Bible journaling is the process of drawing, painting, or writing in a Bible or special journal. People use a variety of artistic techniques such as drawing, painting, highlighting, calligraphy, and many others to connect with Bible content on a deeper level. It is an increasingly popular way to engage with biblical texts. It can be a great way to develop your faith and spiritual growth. But what if we also used this process to practice foreign languages? Yes, Bible journaling can be a creative and fun way to learn and improve in a foreign language, along with spiritual development. Multilingual notes:
Instead of taking traditional notes, you can take notes in a foreign language. Write down sentences in your Bible that come to mind for each verse or that God reveals to you. It doesn’t have to be just plain written notes; try calligraphy. It looks very pretty.
Extend your Bible to foreign languages:

I combine printed pictures, water colors, wax pens and markers. When creating collages you can incorporate words or phrases in a foreign language. You can also create themed collages that reflect Bible stories and assign relevant vocabulary to them.
Incorporate interactive elements:
Interactive elements such as opening windows, bookmarks or envelopes can add another level of engagement to the Bible. You can hide secret notes or questions that make you think.
