The Lord God has given everyone a different talent. Some have a talent for drawing, others for singing, and still others for languages. When a person lives for God, he wants to use everything he has for His glory. Today I will give you some tips on how you can use foreign languages for God.
Go abroad to evangelize.
It doesn’t have to be some exotic foreign country, just go abroad, for example. Get to know people in different churches, build relationships, and let the Lord lead you.
Bring strangers to God in your own country.
Pray with them, praise God, and read the Bible in a foreign language with them. Converse together about God and the Christian life.
Can you imagine presenting yourself in front of a camera?
Start a YouTube channel and upload videos about God in a foreign language.
If you don’t want to show your face, write a blog. But who to create for if you don’t know anyone from abroad? Join Facebook groups and elsewhere on social media.
Create materials on Pinterest.
Would you enjoy creating in Canva, for example? Feel free to graphicise Bible verses in a foreign language, create worksheets and just about anything else that comes to mind.
Help someone in business.
Does a foreign Christian entrepreneur need some reels edited or a blog article written? Help him with that.
How about translating the Bible?

Can you sing and would you enjoy composing?
I think it might be interesting to compose new hymns in a foreign language.
Do you know Prayer map?
(www.prayermap.com) This tip is more for English speakers only. People from all over the world put their prayer requests there in English. You can practice your English by reading the requests and e.g. analyzing the grammar and learning new words. And of course, don’t forget to pray for these people, in English. You can also add your own prayer request.
Interpret at the service.
Interpreting is a difficult discipline, but if you enjoy it, feel free to find a church that needs help with this and offer your talents.
Does any foreign church make social media posts?
Offer to help them network.
Engage in online discussions about God and the Christian life.
Most of the time it’s not a honeypot because everyone is arguing about their “truths,” but at least you’ll get some language practice. :-))
In conclusion, I want to recall two beautiful and important verses:
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. (Proverbs 3:9–10 NIV)
I can tell you from my own experience that if we use our talents for God’s glory, the Lord will bless us in ways we can’t even imagine. Remember, if you ask God sincerely about how you can make Him the center of your talents, He will open doors for you to do things you never dreamed possible.
